Secret admirers are normal for Hollywood celebrities. But the greater risk of having a stalker, especially if you were a former Supermodel like Tyra Banks, is higher compared to an ordinary New Yorker.
Perhaps Tyra has won the heart of her avid fan Brady Green, 37, for stalking her with all the means of trying to get noticed. At first instances, Brady’s special desire to Tyra may be flattering. But the frequent sending of letters, phone calls and flowers for the past three months is truly pestering.
Tyra’s move to ask some police assistance for her safety is a necessity. Having a stalker makes you feel uneasy of what might happen to you once your fan has the chance to see you in person. What’s bugging the model-turned TV host is that Brady is a burley ex-con drifter. However, as Jesus Nuñez, her friend, described the stalker, Brady seems to look decent, muscled and neatly dressed.
But I agree with the decision of Judge Anthony Ferrara of the Manhattan Criminal Court to free the stalker after being arrested and given several charges since he is not guilty of any of them. He may be guilty of stalking but he did not physically harassed Tyra and the trespassing charge is not applicable since he was arrested at a nearby food chain.
My advice to Tyra is to get more security for other cases of stalking. Her beauty is indeed admirable since some of her fans go gaga over her. Your popularity seems to be unfading. Just relax and do your thing well.
